Reconfirming its global brand status with its second invitation after its first by Italy’s Pitti Uomo

First ‘Women’s Capsule Collection’ at Galleria from 14 to 27 September, gathering attention

Since its invitation by Italy’s ‘Pitti Uomo’, world’s largest men’s wear exhibition, in last January, Juun.J was invited as a guest designer for ‘Centrestage’, Hong’s fashion exhibition.
A global men’s wear brand by SAMSUNG C&T Fashion Group, Juun.J announced, on the 7th, that it was invited as a guest designer to ‘Centrestage’, one of major fashion exhibition hosted by HKTDC, from 6th to 9th.
Since its invitation by Italy’s ‘Pitti Uomo’, world’s largest men’s wear exhibition, in last January, as a guest designer, Juun.J will be presenting its collection at the invitation of Hong Kong’s ‘Center Stage’. As the first fashion brand in Korea, Juun.J was invited as a guest designer for ‘Pitti Uomo’ and the largest fashion event in Hong Kong, establishing a solid foothold as a global brand and also leading in promoting K-fashion to the world.
Held at the HKCEC, ‘Centrestage’ changed its exhibition name from ‘World Boutique HK’ with the will to be the center of fashion exhibition and announced its aspiration to make Hong Kong the fashion platform for the entire Asia together with the newly rising and world’s largest fashion market, China.
HKTDC invited Juun.J for this exhibition to add significance to the 20th anniversary of foundation of Hong Kong Special District. Because Juun.J is a representative designer in Asia and known as a representative fashion designer from Korea in the global fashion city.
For this event, Juun.J presents its spring / summer 2018 collection at the ‘Centrestage Elites’, the highlighted opening gala show. With the concept of EXPAND and CONTRACT, this collection emphasized volume and oversize and newly presented its own twist based on feminine silhouette.
Especially, Juun.J knocked down the boundary of gender as the number of female models was 14 out of the 24 models on the runway and sublimated their shirts into multiple items through a new perception and interpretation. Juun.J also presented new looks with unique detailing of combinations of representative items such as matching of white shirt and black skirt, pleats dress and bomber jacket, shirt and hoodie, and bomber and trench.
Juun.J opened a popup store with Joyce at Lane Crawford in Hong Kong IFC Mall, which will be open until September. Juun.J’s seasonal products from fall / winter 2017 collection are displayed in the most important spot in the most renowned brand shop in the world. Accommodating for brands such as Rick Owens, Raf Simons, J.W. Anderson and other global brands, Hong Kong Joyce is praised as the hottest place among youths in Hong Kong.

For the first time since the launching of the brand, Juun.J is planning to open a ‘women’s capsule collection’ popup store on the second floor of the west wing of Galleria Department Store in Seoul from 14 to 27 September. Juun.J already implied its intention to expand into women’s wear in the fall / winter 2017 collection with numerous female models on the runway. Last May, Rihanna wore Juun.J’s women’s collection on the award show and her music video.
This ‘women’s capsule collection’ is on the basis of ‘archive’, its concept for fall / winter 2017, and comprised of trench coats, MA-1 jumpers, sweatshirts and oversized shirts, military detailed skirts, and jogger pants, reinterpreting in the perspective of women’s wear.
