KUHO has rolled up its sleeves to offer our children a bright and hopeful future.
On the 27th, Samsung C&T Fashion Group’s women’s wear, KUHO announced that they will hold their ‘Heart for Eye’ campaign, a donation project for children with visual impairment.
Started in 2006, KUHO annually holds ‘Hearts for Eye’ campaign for the purpose to share the splendor of fashion with children with visual impairment, in which they produce and retail fashion items in cooperation with celebrities and artists.
At its 14th year, ‘Heart for Eye’ campaign was joined by actor Beomsu Lee and his wife, Yunjin Lee, and daughters, Soeul and Daeul, to deliver the true meaning of ‘family’.
Also, Bora from Sistar, a global fashion model, Irene, furniture designer, Doha Ham, and other celebrities and artists participated this special privilege of sharing.
Especially, this year’s campaign was joined by the artistic furniture designer, Doha Ham, sharing its deep love.
With the subject of ‘love’, Ham efforted to design personified furniture retaining variety of emotions and attitudes.
As if expressing his emotions using his hands and feet, Ham was able to enclose his designs inspired by men and women expressing their love in the ‘Heart for Eye’ t-shirts.
Ham stated, “Change of emotion makes our lives more colorful. I expressed furniture on products personified through the acts of craving for love.”
In celebration of the Family Month, May, KUHO arranged ‘Heart for Eye’ campaign products for men, women and kids’ t-shirts as well as jumpers, pants, shopper bags, clutch bags and other items for the whole family to enjoy.
Adult t-shirt is priced at 90,000 won, kid t-shirt 50,000won, pants 298,000 won, knit / cardigan 398,000 won, shopper bag 198,000 won and clutch 138,000 won.
As before, all retail profits from this campaign will be donated to Samsung Seoul Hospital to cover operation costs for children with visual impairments. By 2016, over 320 children were able to receive proper eye operations including recovery from blindness, strabismus surgery and anophthalmic socket reconstruction.
Jeonghee Yun, head of Women’s Wear for Samsung C&T Fashion Group stated, “as a leader in the fashion industry in pursuit of beauty, I hope the ‘Heart for Eye’ campaign makes a great precedent. We will continue to make efforts to give these children the gift of light of hope.”
KUHO’s ‘Heart for Eye’ campaign products will be available starting 1st of May in all KUHO stores and Samsung C&T Fashion Group’s online mall, SSF Shop, and 29CM, online shop.
