Popup rally continues in major department stores across China, Korea and Japan

Brand positioning with international love calls and business expansion
A global brand NONAGON is once again attracting customers.
NONAGON, a global young street fashion brand of Natural9 that had been jointly founded by Samsung C&T Fashion Group and YG Entertainment, will be opening a popup store on the 4th floor of Galleria Luxury Hall in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul starting Jan. 22nd until the 11th of February.
Being the 4th popup store opened in Korea, NONAGON drew quite a crowd over the weekend despite the frosty conditions. Especially, its main products, bomber jackets and backpacks, were almost sold out.
Since the display of potential with its first popup store in Galleria in Sept. 2014 being sold out in just 3 days, NONAGON continues with its success by opening popup stores not only for international but also domestic customers.
NONAGON presented its inspiration from Camp Circus in the Spring/Summer 2016 Collection. From the nomadic life style jointly found in military camp and circus, the motif came from various elements of a circus including the military mood, star motif and freak show.
It especially presented MA-1 aviation jackets, sweat shirts and pants, snap bags and backpacks with 9(IX) typographic as their graphic point. Also, it presented jumpers for females completed with NONAGON’s own patterns and color blend as well as denim vest, another original NONAGON item.
Currently NONAGON has opened popup stores in I.T Beijing Market, I.T Shanghai Citic Square and I.T Hong Kong Land Mark which will remain open until 2nd next month.
Also, to match its global brand name NONAGON will open additional popup stores in Hankyu Men’s Tokyo from the 15th to 23rd of February, in Hankyu Men’s Osaka in March and in Isetan Department Store Shinjuku in May.
NONAGON plans to open an online mall in Japan, too, in late February.
This was decided a go when there were lines forming at the popup stores in Hankyu Tokyo and Osaka in Japan last September.
Personnel from Natural9 said, “As K-wave spreads around the world, NONAGON continues to expand its brand name with our original designs and concepts. We have many interested parties from North America and Europe as well as Asian and plan to increase number of popup stores accordingly.
Also, to support globalization of Korean brands, Galleria Department Store will continue to expand scope of cooperation with Natural9 and promoted the 4th popup store for NONAGON. Especially since last 18th, they have placed NONAGON brand image on the outdoor advertisement board.
In addition to opening a popup store in I.T Citic Square in Shanghai next February, it also took the only show window display located on the 1st floor of the mall. With the neon signs inspired from the nonagon that symbolizes NONAGON, the display included new arrivals for spring and summer of 2016.
