Beanpole Outdoor, delivery ceremony of
uniforms to the national snowboarding team
Samsung Everland’s fashion division Beanpole Outdoor has announced that they will be sponsoring Korea Ski Association’s national snowboarding team with official uniforms. Beanpole Outdoor opened a ceremony on the 28th to present the national half-pipe and alpine teams with official uniforms at the Samsung Everland fashion division’s company building at Susong-dong, Jongro-gu. The delivery ceremony consisted of presentation of the official uniform and was followed by commemorative photographing. Participants of the ceremony included the business manager of Samsung Everland’s Beanpole Bae Je Hyun, Coaches of the national team Kim Su Cheol and Lee Sang Heon, snowboarders of the national half-pipe team Kim Ho Jun(24, CJ Jeildang) and Lee Gwang Gi(21, Dankook University), and snowboarder of the national alpine team Kim Sang Gyeom(25, Korea Armed Forces Athletics Corps).
 
The national team is training to acquire 4 medals while being ranked within 7th place. Korea’s first Olympic appearance in snowboarding was in the Vancouver Olympics, and the national snowboarding team is eager to obtain their first medal in the Sochi Olympic 2014
 
Business manager Bae Je Hyun said “it is an honor for Beanpole Outdoor to be able to support the national snowboarding team in this global event” and added “I hope that the national team will give a great performance. Beanpole Outdoor will continue to offer unsparing support for the promotion of national sports.”

- Snowboard half-pipe:
A track in the shape of a round pipe cut in half. Athletes perform tricks while riding down the slope.

Snowboard Alpine:
Alpine is a speed event where the athlete attempts to ride down the slope as fast as possible while evading flags.
