The concept for the 2014 F/W Season is ‘zoot suit’, reinterpreted with the creative DNA of a designer

This season, Juun.J suggested ‘zoot suits’ that were reinterpreted with the creative DNA of a designer. ‘Zoot suit’s have wide shoulders and pants that become tighter as they go down, which grew in popularity in New York of the 1940’s, alongside the jazz culture. In a time when fabric was limited, these suits had a great influence. Juun.j’s ‘zoot suits’ received reviews that the suits had a futuristic feel to them with their daring silhouettes and detailed tailoring.
The suits are produced with a variety of high quality fabrics such as felted wool, which is created by compressing wool with heat, leather and a number of other materials which are tailored using Jeong Wook Jun’s classic method. They are not limited to just outer or inner wear, and are created with unique and detailed designs. They come in black, navy and gray with dark green to add class, expressing the depths of men.

Suggesting new possibilities through a variety of collaborations

In this collection, Juun.J also expressed dynamic youth through the finale apparel which was created in collaboration with New Era, a company that is loved by youth for its street feel, and hand artist Josh Luke.
A collaboration between Juun.J and Samsung Electronics is also receiving a lot of attention. High end fashion meets state of the art technology, both moving forward, not being stuck on the present. Juun.J’s accessories exclusively for the ‘Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition’ and Samsung Electronics ‘Galaxy Note PRO’, which made a debut at ‘CES 2014’, are in the spotlight after their launch.
